BACKGROUND
Trade Training Centre’s are a Commonwealth Government initiative, integral to the Governments Education Revolution announced in 2007. Trade Training Centre’s were established throughout Australia to increase the percentage of students achieving Year 12 or equivalent and assist in addressing the skill shortages in traditional trades and emerging industries.
The Busselton Trade Training Centre was officially opened in May 2013 in collaboration with a consortium of six local, regional high schools.
